Mt. Rushmore
I made it safe and sound to the Horse Thief Campgrounds and got ready to set up my tent. Only I forgot to pack it.
Off to see Mt. Rushmore I guess! I went and walked around a bit. Pretty impressive and I hope to read more about it (more than you find out in grade school) tonight. I grabbed a free pamphlet.
Right now I’m sitting on a curb of a rest stop if sorts. It’s right outside...

The Trip Starts at Jiffy Lube
I’m off! I loaded up this morning, bright and early, and headed out for my first summer trip of 2009! I’m hoping to hitthe far west side if South Dakota by tonight. Then off to the northwest corner of Wyoming on Tuesday and come home through Montana and North Dakota. Lots of driving but it should be fun!
